BULB FLATS

Nowadays Bulb flats are the most used structure profiles for the Shipbuilding construction to reinforce steel plate. Bulb flats can be applied in almost all shipbuilding vessels, such as offshore, cruising, yacht, ferries, barges, fishing, repairing and etcetera. Eng. Holland, who created the design of the bulb flats, originating the name Holland Profile (HP), realized a very strategic and useful profiles which are the most needed and approved by many shipbuilding engineers from worldwide. They feature a unique shape – flat, with a short, tapered flange on one side – which provides for more accessible cleaning, welding, and there are no hidden recesses which you might encounter when reinforcing plate with other structure profiles.

Baglietto SRL have started providing bulb flats since 70s, remarking the significant request, initially from the ship-repairing field, so then specializing more and more in the shipbuilding sector also.

Today Baglietto SRL stocking 8.000 tons of Bulb Flats, offering a wide range of items from 60mm to 430mm in Grade A – AH36 – DH36, making Baglietto SRL one of the largest and fastest supplier of bulb flats in the world.
